Patient Safety Incident Reporting Framework (PSIRF)

For VCFSE organisations delivering services on an NHS Standard Contract, the requirement to comply with the new Patient Safety Incident Reporting framework (PSIRF) is key.

Spring North have worked on theirs and have agreed to share it for anyone wishing to adapt it for their own use. Please note this is not a generic VCFSE policy, it is designed for Spring North however, along with support from the Integrated Care Board’s patient safety team it provides a base to adapt to your situation and services. This policy was approved at the September ICB Quality Committee.
