News, events and opportunities from the Community Research and Engagement Network (COREN)

Date posted: 11th December 2023

"Please complete this survey which should take no more than 30 mins of your time. This is being carried out as part of an evaluation of the Community Research and Engagement Network (CoREN), part of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) NW Coast.

If you have signed up to become a member of the CoREN (Community Research and Engagement Network) you are now part of the network. You may have attended some of our events or heard about the opportunities we have. The COREN is all about sharing and developing ideas around health research and increasing capacity to be involved. It brings together key partners from across health and social care, including voluntary, community and statutory organisations (local government, public health, and NHS), academics, and public advisors, as well as other stakeholders from across the north-west coast.

We know there is already a huge amount of research and evaluation work being carried out right across the area by organisations large and small. To make best use of this, we want to understand about the work you are doing. We also want to understand what you understand of the CoREN and about your involvement, and how we can work in the future to better support you. The survey shouldn’t take too long and we really appreciate any help you can offer.

You can find the survey here.

Do get in touch with any questions – Claire Selby, Stakeholder and Engagement Manager, c.selby@lancaster.ac.uk or to find out how to get involved."
