Workforce Strategy Engagement Event: 8th September 2023

Outline of the Event 

"Lancashire and South Cumbria (L&SC) Integrated Care Board (ICB) is developing a five-year Workforce Strategy that takes account of the whole area and our shared vision for health and care and services. 

The ICB is committed to engaging and involving all stakeholders and understanding peoples’ perspectives on workforce needs now and for the future. The Board recognises the crucial role the VCFSE plays, and we really need to hear from you.

We are offering 2 sessions on the 8th September, 9.30am-10.30am and 11.00am-12.00noon and we would encourage as many of you as possible to attend one of the sessions. The sessions will be virtual and interactive so that we can capture your views to help us develop a collaborative and inclusive Workforce Strategy.

We will be exploring

• Workforce issues preventing you/your organisation and the VCFSE sector from doing its job effectively
• Ways you are dealing with or overcoming these
• The one or two things that would make a difference to the way your organisation delivers its services in the next 5 years
