Lancashire and South Cumbria Joint Committee of CCGs set to meet on 9 January 2020

The next meeting of the Joint Committee of Clinical Commissioning Groups in Lancashire and South Cumbria is on Thursday 9 January at Blackpool Central Library. 

Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are NHS organisations that plan and buy healthcare for their communities. The Joint Committee of Clinical Commissioning Groups (JCCCG) is a meeting of the CCGs in Lancashire and South Cumbria and will be responsible for making decisions about any future proposals referred to it by the CCGs.

The next meeting will be 1pm - 3pm on Thursday 9 January 2020 at Blackpool Central Library, Queen Street, Blackpool FY1 1PX.

Members of the public and wider stakeholders are invited to attend a 30 minute session prior to the committee meeting at 12.30pm. This session will provide an opportunity for members of the public and wider stakeholders to raise any questions specifically related to items on the agenda at the subsequent meeting which starts at 1pm. Whilst the agenda and papers are available on the website below, there will also be paper copies available for members of the public to view at the meeting.

The Joint Committee of Clinical Commissioning Groups consists of GPs and lay members from each of the Clinical Commissioning Groups in Lancashire and South Cumbria. Chief Executives from Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen Council, Blackpool Council, representatives from district Councils and local Healthwatch attend the meetings.

If members of the public would like to attend, they are asked to contact the Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria Team on 01253 951630 or by emailing healthier.lsc@nhs.net and provide details of any specific requirements they might have so that these can be considered in the planning for the meeting.

The meeting will be streamed live on the Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria YouTube Channel for those who are unable to attend.

How do I ask a question regarding agenda items?

Members of the public who have attended previous committee meetings requested the opportunity to submit questions they have regarding agenda items to the committee. If you would like to ask a question, please submit by email to healthier.lsc@nhs.net  before 5pm on Tuesday 7 January.
