Managing frailty: online toolkit

The British Geriatrics Society (BGS) has developed a plain English online toolkit for primary care practitioners to support managing frailty in older people using comprehensive geriatric assessments (CGA).

A review of community-based complex interventions including CGA, demonstrated a reduction in both hospital and nursing home admissions in older people living with frailty. The BGS toolkit is free and provides a comprehensive resource to support primary care to work with older people and their families to help them stay well for longer.
