Multi-Disciplinary Team campaign
Date posted: 5th December 2019New materials have been produced for practices to help them promote the various health care professionals who work alongside GPs, and within the local community.
The multidisciplinary team materials use the national Help Us Help You brand with the strapline ‘Get the right care’.
The resources include posters covering the following roles
- ‘Care Navigator’
- Reception team (for those that do not refer to ‘Care Navigators’)
- Clinical Pharmacists
- Physiotherapists
- Paramedics
- Physician Associates
- Mental Health Therapists and Practitioners
- Social Prescribing Link Workers
- Healthcare Assistants
- General Practice Nurses
- Advanced Clinical Practitioners
The posters will include an editable version so that practices can add local information. In addition, there will be social media assets, a leaflet explaining the roles and information for waiting room digital screens. These materials should be used to guide patients to the most appropriate person.
Practices should display the posters and GP screens clearly, and where possible share the assets on websites and through social media channels.
Materials will be available shortly on the PHE resource centre here. If you have not already registered, you will need to register on the website in order to download the materials.
Should you have any questions regarding the campaign or the materials available, you can contact NHS England and NHS Improvement’s communications team - Leah Maguire or Philippa Rowley
